Arizona suicide prevention plans and initiatives
Arizona’s suicide prevention efforts are implemented through the Arizona Suicide Prevention Coalition (AZSPC), whose mission is to change conditions that result in suicidal acts through awareness, intervention, and action. AZSPC consists of 30 member organizations, including the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) which maintains a suicide prevention page within its Office of Strategic Initiatives. DHS published the updated statewide Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2022-2023.
